O-Map Printing
As orienteers, we not only print maps but also use our experience to make sure everything from colour to contours are correct. Also as part of our quality control, we will be send you a proof set of maps, which is included in the set-up charge, this way you can check the courses as the competitors will see them.
When we send you the proofs, don’t forget to check the scale and course lengths by measuring the distance of at least two courses for each scale or map version, do not just check the length in the description box.
Utilising digital technology we can print orienteering maps from OCAD, Condes, Adobe Illustrator or eps format. By transferring the relevant CMYK values from the table below into your colour menu, your map will be colour calibrated for use on our Xerox DC2045* press (This is very important if you wish to supply .eps or PDF files). For a full colour chart you can also download the colour reference file, which is available in Adobe PDF format.
*Please note: These settings are specific to the DC2045 and may cause unexpected results if used on other printers.
